The Night Nebula

When the sun goes down, and the last tinge of orange and pink leave the wisps of clouds on the already darkening sky, the night happens. Sometimes, its cold and disquiet like the nights spent walking on unknown, shadowy streets. At times, it’s tiring, spent on arduous jobs that seem to persist their existence through every hour. And for the lucky few, it’s spent in the warm embrace of a loved one, or in wide-eyed dreams of being in one. However much it is wooed and cooed to come, sleep doesn’t always enthusiastically approach as an attention-begging puppy. And the moment in between the last routine act of the day, and REM, is where the magic of the night nebula happens.

Paseo Gallery presents ‘The Night Nebula’, a group exhibit of 16 artists held at the A.R.T. Center, 4th floor of SM Megamall. This exhibit is a nebular cluster of the different visions that various artists have on the phenomenon of night. The artists have been chosen for their distinctive approach to their own work and to their dedication to their own artistic individuality. The exhibit will be on show from the 10th to 24th of July, 2013.

The 16 artists compose of the following: Ernest Concepcion, Erik Sausa, Danilo Arriola, Martin Honasan, R A Hushhush Tijing, Hilario Campos III, Amiel Roldan, Jason Montinola, Alvin Villaruel, Rey Aurelio, Mark Arcamo, Janelle Tang, Genepaul Martin, Niño Hernandez, Nix Puno, Bree Jonson.
